VERCO SUPPLIES BESPOKE KINGSTON’S FOR WHSMITH TRAVEL SITE PROGRAMME
Verco Limited, the leading supplier of refrigerated cabinets for the UK convenience store sector, has supplied its open-chill Kingston range to over fifty WHSmith Travel sites located at the UK’s major airports and train stations, including the EuroStar Terminal at Waterloo.
The sites form part of a continuing roll-out programme with each site taking 1m, 1.95m or 2.5m Kingston’s cabinets finished in white. Verco has also designed and manufactured a bespoke 2 metre version for the contract.
Commenting on his choice of cabinet WHSmith’s Steve Buckingham says: “After being shown a typical run of integral Kingston chillers I decided to arrange a visit to Verco’s facility in Wallingford, where I was impressed by their design and manufacturing capabilities and how easy it was to service and maintain the cabinets.”
To date, Verco has supplied over seventy Kingston cabinets for the Travel programme in sites located at Liverpool Street Station in London, Birmingham New Street Station, Birmingham Airport and the NEC, Glasgow International Airport and Glasgow Central and Queens Street stations.
