NEW ROGER DYSON LIGHTWEIGHT TRANSLOADER LETS OPERATORS WORK LONGER AND SMARTER
It’s said that a good craftsman never blames his tools……probably because he always buys the best. Roger Dyson Group claims that recovery and transport operators won’t need excuses either now that it has launched its new 3.5 tonnes Lightweight Aluminium Transloader.
Not only does it allow businesses to work more flexibly than the 48-hour week imposed by the new Drivers Hours Regulations, it also provides the quality design features and equipment that operators need to make sure the job gets done quickly, efficiently and profitably.
The latest examples include: a one-piece aluminium platform that allows cars, vans, bikes and even 3-wheelers to be loaded fast and without fuss; a recessed winch that means the whole length of the platform can be used; and storable ramps that slide rather than lift, for both convenience and safety.
Introducing the new model, managing director Roger Dyson says: “Cost of ownership, not price, is the big issue in the industry, which is why the new Lightweight Transloader has been designed and built on the same ‘best working specification’ principle as all the company’s vehicles, and not down to a price.”
He adds that fifteen of the new models have already been delivered, including two each to Ashleywood Recovery, Sparkes Commercial and Liftdown Garage.
The new Lightweight Transloader can be specified on a range of chassis from leading truck manufacturers including: Renault; Iveco; Ford; Vauxhall and Citroen.
