GAST GROUP OPENS NEW UK HEADQUARTERS
The Gast Group Limited, a member of the IDEX Corporation and the result of the acquisition of JUN-AIR by Gast Manufacturing, formally opened its new 16,000 sq. ft. UK headquarters in Redditch on Thursday 22nd March.
The ceremony, which was attended by UK-based employees as well as senior executives from the US, was performed by Gast Manufacturing Inc. President Matt McGough and the Gast Group’s UK managing director Adrian Lee and European managing director Thomas Torp.
Commenting on the new era for both companies, Matt McGough says: “Bringing two businesses together is never easy, so we’re especially proud of the Gast and JUN-AIR people and the great job they are doing here”.
The new headquarters, which will be a centre of excellence for the groups air technology products, provides customer support, sales processing, order fulfilment and technical applications advice from experienced teams who are available to help with enquiries for both Gast and JUN-AIR products. In addition, a service and repair workshop is available, as well as a training and seminar faculties that enable staff, distributors and customers keep up-to-date with products and applications.
Commenting for the Gast Group, Adrian Lee says that a new CRM system has been installed to help staff focus on the needs of customers and ensure that schedules and deliveries are fulfilled on time. An extensive warehouse also enables the company to hold stocks of core products from both ranges.
